Not the content side - I knew my subject and exactly how to build a product people would buy. It turns out that I don't want to be front of camera.

I started my YouTube channel because I already had a product and needed a platform to sell it. I knew how monetization worked before I filmed a single video. What I discovered was something different entirely - I was the wrong person to be in front of the camera.

I'm a data person. Always have been. Twenty-five years building analytical frameworks in business - finding patterns, identifying opportunities, measuring what works and relentlessly improving what doesn't. The parts of running a channel I found energizing were the strategy, the content architecture, the conversion planning, watching the launch numbers come in.

They had the audience, the trust and the on-camera presence I'd never have.
